“We didn't just want to create a magazine. We wanted to create a movement — a place where women's stories, in all their complexity, beauty, and power, could finally be heard on a truly global scale.”
Where It All Began
Women Flourish Magazine was founded on March 8, 2025 — International Women's Day — not by coincidence, but by conviction. It was a deliberate act of beginning on a day that carries the weight of generations of women's struggle, resilience, and triumph. We chose that day because we believe every single day should feel like International Women's Day for the women living it.
The idea was simple but urgent: the world had no shortage of women doing extraordinary things, yet so many of their stories were invisible — unheard, unshared, uncelebrated. Women leading communities from the ground up. Women rebuilding lives after displacement. Women rewriting the rules of technology and industry. Women holding the ancient traditions of their cultures with one hand while reaching into the future with the other.
We wanted to be the publication that found those women, honoured their stories, and placed their voices at the centre — not the margins — of the global conversation.
What We Stand For
Women Flourish is not just a magazine. It is a philosophy. We believe that when a woman is given space to be seen, supported, and celebrated, she doesn't just grow — she transforms everything around her. Her family. Her community. Her industry. Her country.
We publish stories across five editorial pillars: Women Leadership, Mental Health & Wellness, Culture & Identity, Personal Journeys, and Social Impact. Every story we choose is chosen because it has the power to move someone — to make a reader feel less alone, more capable, or newly inspired.
In our first year, we have reached readers across 70+ countries, featured 100+ women, and grown a community of over a million readers who trust us to tell the truth about women's lives — not the polished version, but the real one.
The Road Ahead
We are only just beginning. Our ambition is to become the definitive global platform for women's voices — a trusted, beautiful, intellectually serious publication that sits alongside the best in the world. We are building in public, growing with our community, and guided at every step by one simple question: does this story make women feel more powerful?
If the answer is yes, it belongs in Women Flourish. Join us.

Shikha Kaushik
Shikha Kaushik is the founder and managing editor of Women Flourish Magazine, launched on International Women's Day, March 8, 2025 — a deliberate act of beginning on a day that carries the weight of generations of women's resilience and triumph.
Her vision grew from seeing brilliant, world-changing women whose stories were never told. She understood that the gap between women's achievements and their visibility was not a talent problem — it was a platform problem. Women Flourish was her answer.
As Managing Editor, Shikha leads the editorial direction of every issue, shapes the magazine's identity, and ensures it stays true to its founding promise: to tell the most important stories about women's lives with intelligence, warmth, and international ambition. Under her leadership, the magazine has grown to reach readers in 70+ countries.
